WTH. I TYPED ONE WHOLE LENGTH JUST NOW, FIRST COMPLAINING ABOUT TECHNOLOGICAL INCONVENIENCES AND HERE IT GO NOT SAVING AND NOT PUBLISHING MY POST. GRRRRRRRRR. i am relaxed, yet seriously pissed. Anyways, as I was blogging about just now (now that I am saving this onto Microsoft words till blogger gets better). I was complaining about the technological glitches. I wonder if its just my server or if its something else… like its because of the typhoon in Taiwan. But this problem has been existing for weeks that it is really very irritating. If it is not my facebook that is down (well, not as bad as it still serves some basic functions most of the time… but the template/format was horrible), my hotmail will be down, I cannot even open up my mails, only get to see them from outside. Now, it is with this blogger. It is really such a major inconveniences, very very discomforting. But thankfully, not all is down at the same time, I would definitely be majorly unpleased and irritated for the rest of the day, unless of course something better happened. I wanted to take a nap after blogging just now, but I think I can forget about it. I wanted to post up a picture of baybeats taken with my phone camera... unfortunately of all times I decided not to bring my trusty digital cam with me on that day, but the picture still looks good. Being there is obviously much better! Thank goodness I made the effort to bring myself there after working the whole day giving out race packs for the yellow ribbon project run where I was out of the house before day break and out of that place after the sun had set. Furthermore had to wait there for like 45mins (had to wait another extra 15mins) for the band to get ready. Despite the moshing, being squashed by sweaty guys (yucks), and being potential victims of crazy muds* who peforms ‘martial art’ stunts and mini circle trance run (I term them the ‘bryan-stuart’ alikes) and chimney pots who huff and puff behind you (totally horrible if you imagine how much 2nd hand smoke you’d have consumed that I would certainly need purification…) Oh, and luckily I met Nadine and her friends (who are really gentlemanly… being our ‘bodyguards’. (: Or else I would have been some loner man being squashed all over (that Benji and his friends got stuck at the back of the crowd by the time they return… thankfully I was there right after the previous band had performed… and just stood around or else I wouldn’t have seen anything or hear it live and loud) I was pretty shocked to see Utt f-ing (with hand sign too) away on stage (noting that its out in the public somemore) while emceeing… its like, this is Singapore and much more its at the esplanade, known for showcasing refined arts and for its attas-ness. I am sure those who are there wouldn’t mind much, but you can say it’s a surprise to me, culturally? Anyways, I AM SO GLAD I WAS THERE TO CATCH ANBERLIN LIVE. Kudos to Singapore for organising this! (And its free some more… read from the papers that its sponsored by the esplanade… very nice…) I would like to go catch the afro-jazz at the sun festival too, and the F1 rock. But tickets are so expensive… and I will be having exams… =x I went back to school for prelims today. It felt pretty weird, for I had actually graduated already. Some one even asked if I came to take the paper for fun (I actually had this thought that it is as if I am on some special assignment that requires me to do this once more… haha) I really had to thank god for these people in my life. It is like they are doing this for you even though it is none of their business in fact and being in Singapore, typically where people will just find some way to be out of the way for anything that requires extra work. That is also why the culture in CJ is endearing and warm. I had my GP and Bio paper 2 today. I can say it was horribly done. ): I need to write faster… No, I NEED TO THINK FASTER TOO. I don’t wish to let anyone down, or rather, waste anyone’s effort. Its like, you spent half the year at home… and still like this? Also very paiseh too. Let just hope for the rest of the papers, I will do better! (: Ps. I was reading this article regarding teacher’s day and the awardees and it inspired me to write one, for mr hoi, who really go all the way out to help me. |
